River Float

This is a local adventure you must try, it is a nice and slow float that will also challenge your mindset and balance as you navigate your own way on a tube, kayak, river tube, boat, paddleboard, or whatever you want to float on.

Let’s have some fun in the low river!!

meeting point is at "La Llorona Park" 3440 W Picacho Ave, Las Cruces, NM.

• 11:00 am - We meet at la Llorona Park
• 11:30 am - We drive some cars to the exit point (Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park)
• 12:00 pm - We jump into the river from La Llorona Park.
• 1:30 pm - We reach the exit point and drive back to la Llorona Park.
• 2:00 pm - We are done!!

Picnic at La Llorona park is permitted if you have friends or family that would like to stay. 

RECOMMENDATIONS:

* Float light. Bring minimum essentials onboard. 

* Bring a paddle so you can steer your float. 

* Plan your navigation if you are bringing kids or want to tie other floats to yours.

DO:

* Wear life vest 

* Wear water shoes 

* Bring your own river float and paddle 

* Eat and go to the restroom before we jump into the river 

* Get a Waterproof case for you phone

* Arrive on time as we must get in together 

* Enjoy the ride

DON'T:

* Don't bring food on your float.

* Don't bring pets. }

* Don't bring speakers (it is important to listen to each other as we float). 

* Don't be late.

*Remember to buy paddles even if you are floating on a river tube!!
