BE IT PROCLAIMED, that the City Council of El Paso, Texas, hereby designates and celebrates the week of November 13 through the 19 as:
“El Paso Global Entrepreneurship Week”
And urges all El Pasoans, businesses, agencies, institutions, and organizations to actively engage in events and initiatives that champion entrepreneurship and laud the innovators and visionaries who enrich our community and bolster our local economy.
Proclamation for the City Council of El Paso, Texas
WHEREAS, our city is home to a diverse and vibrant community of entrepreneurs who contribute to the fabric of our society, creating jobs, inspiring innovation, and fostering a culture of resilience and creativity; and
WHEREAS, the spirit of entrepreneurship is a foundational pillar for social vitality and a force driving economic growth, innovation, and community development in the City of El Paso, Texas; and
WHEREAS, Global Entrepreneurship Week, celebrated worldwide, serves as a catalyst to connect, inspire, and educate aspiring and established entrepreneurs, fostering collaboration, mentorship, and the exchange of ideas; and
WHEREAS, during the week of November 13 through the 19, under the collaborative banner of "El Paso Business Strong," our city seeks to inspire, mentor, and engage with budding and established entrepreneurs alike, fostering an ecosystem abundant with opportunity and innovation; and
WHEREAS, this week-long celebration will unite our community leaders, businesses, and organizations to promote the values and virtues of entrepreneurship;
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of El Paso to be affixed this Tuesday, November 7th, 2023.
